Call for Applications: Black Sea Region Excellence Award 2013

The University of Applied Sciences – bfi Vienna is inviting submissions for the first “Black Sea Region Excellence Award“. In 2013 two master theses by students/graduates of the University of Applied Sciences bfi Vienna will be awarded with € 500 each.

Criteria for submitting the master thesis:
  • Topic focus on one country/several countries of the Black Sea Region
  • Alternatively, topic focus on the entire Black Sea Region
  • In particular on the countries focused on by the competence team: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, Russia – Krasnodar Region, Turkey, Ukraine
  • The master thesis has been written in German or English, has been graded “Very good”, has not been submitted for any other award (no double submission), is as yet unpublished and not older than two years (date of assessment).
The master thesis must be submitted electronically as pdf file by 22 April 2013 at the latestbsr.award@fh-vie.ac.at – and include the following:
  • Supervisor’s letter of recommendation
  • Assessment report of the master thesis
  • Short version of the master thesis (25,000-30,000 characters incl. spaces)
  • Author’s CV
