29 August 2013, YCSD took a part in the special youth project devoted to awareness and capacity building of intercultural and inter-religious dialogue in the compelexed Southern area of the Russian Federation with a "meeting point" in Krasnodar city.
This project called "Krasnodar is our common home" is developed by the Directorate for youth of the city Krasnodar and includes several activities with the common goal to work out the basis of intercultural dialogue taking into account features of the Southern Russia's multicultural structure of society.
The place of the yesterday event -- oriental "Chor-Minor" restaurant (Krasnodar, Krasnaya street 184/2) gathered more than fourty people of different ages interested in cultural realities and current socio-political instability in the Middle East that raised a lot of questions in the auditorium and made guests think of appropriate dialogue tools using, inter-religious communication, media instruments, civic responsibility and human rights as a basis for dialogue establishment.
